I will be honest with you that the name of former Entertainment Sports and Programming Network (ESPN) sportscaster Cordell Patrick does not ring a bell with me is lucky man when he was getting ready to go the bathroom when his wife fell asleep behind the wheel of the recreational vehicle (RV) that was traveling on a highway on the way home to Valenica California on Monday January 15th when the RV crashed into a median when Cordell tried to grab the steering wheel when the RV crashed and ejected Cordell who was not wearing a seat belt 170 feet in the air across the freeway.
Cordell after he landed on the freeway was almost struck by an auto that nearly hit him.
Thanks to a stranger named Alf Smithey who took the time to ask him how he could he helped since Cordell suffered broke his arm and leg from the impact of the landing on the cement since the speed of the RV was around 60 miles per hour when it crashed into the medium.
Other than Cordell being injured, his wife and their pet Beagle were not injured in the accident even though their RV was destroyed in the accident.
Cordell is making a recovery from his injuries in a local hospital at this time. Cordell believes that Guardian Angels intervened in his life.
Hopefully sportscasters will respect the religious beliefs of sports stars that they speak to from now on instead of mocking them.

Religious beliefs? Which ones?
I'm glad Cordell is recovering.

There is a football player in Houston named C J Stroud who said something about his Christian faith on television that was edited by the National Broadcasting Company on the post game show.

@Deepizzaguy Oooh. I think I'm familiar with that news. I think I saw about that on YouTube. I understand now what you meant by religious beliefs.

@mildredtabitha No problem since the joke in my home is that I am not an atheist when having to go the bathroom and hope that my relatives are not inside brushing their teeth.

I hope he wears his seat belt from now on. I'm glad he survived; and I'm glad his wife and dog were not injured.

I am sure that Cordell learned his lesson to wear a seatbelt from now on.

I am in agreement with you that the name Cordell Patrick does not ring a bell either. Cordell is indeed a lucky man that he did not die in that accident.

@Deepizzaguy Indeed. This could have gone very badly for him. It's what he gets for letting a woman behind the wheel. ![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)

He's lucky to have survived. Had I been his wife I sure would have felt guilty,
