Hello again everyone,
This is my newest contribution for Wildlife Wednesday.
It's a blended piece, the background was made separately from the animal in the foreground, then combined for the final result you see.
Some of you are familiar with my wife Courtney's a-z animal challenge and this was in some ways inspired by that.
I might do my own version of the challenge in the future.

Wow! That is very colourful.
How was it made? I mean is it digital?
I prefer to do mine the old fashioned way - with paint brushes and paint!

It's made with digital painting and modeling software, @sharonelton.

@jnrdutton Yes, I thought it was something like that. What is modeling software, and how does it work?

@sharonelton eh, that could be an article in itself to explain, lol.
There are several different types and options. Some modeling software has prefab customizable models built in, others allow you to build from scratch molding models in digital clay and such.
I've worked with both over the years. The prefab are easier, but making them from scratch brings another satisfaction altogether.
If you want to venture into it I'd say just research and find what you prefer.
