I was cleaning and looked at my phone and saw a message from CalFresh (our version of food stamps) saying they were "checking in about my CalFresh interview. *Reply 1 if you had your interview *Reply 2 if your interview has been scheduled *Reply 3 if you missed your interview *Reply 4 if you haven't heard anything *Reply 5 if you were told you don't need an interview I clicked "4" because I don't recall ever hearing anything about an interview, and then I was prompted to "contact my county as soon as possible." I tried, but I listened to elevator music for twenty minutes or half an hour before I hung up. Haven't done as much cleaning as I'd like, and it's now 12:16 by my computer clock, but Hopefully I'll be able to get some more done soon. Right now I need to get lunch, then go for a walk and check the mail, and then do some Bible study. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

Sorry to learn that you are having trouble getting an interview with CalFresh. I am doing okay now that the thunderstorms that came through yesterday are history with cooler temps coming.

I was on hold for about 30 minutes yesterday but thankfully, it wasn't elevator music. Hope you get your interview straightened out.

Are you already on them, or are you trying to get on them?

it's been 1 of them weeks for me, trying to get the cabin worked on & take care of my Dr appts, & shopping yesterday after a dr appt trying to get hubby off his duff to do something with getting the cabin done. If I can get like 5 to 8 hrs of him doing something that's LESS that needs to be done later, instead of waiting till 2-3 pm to get anything started... I mean GIVE ME A BREAK, I want my cabin BACK.
