How far can deepfake AI go in the future?

Taylor Swift has been shocked by the images of AI-generated deepfake using her face for 'inappropriate use' discreetly. One example of how AI can turn to potential chaos. How far do you think deepfake tech can go? how about the impact in the future of human life?

It's just insane. Fake robo calls. Fake calls from loved ones by someone who is using their voice to ask for money. Fake writings, speeches, art, music, everything!
I can't help but wish it had never come to be.

I honestly am not sure of all of the aspects of AI, and from what I have read, it's not all been revealed as to how deep AI can really go. I have already discovered that people are using AI to create what they call art, and selling it. I am so old fashioned, I always considered art to be done by talent, not by AI. In my searches, I have also discovered that there are AI detectors available to check on some of the things we suspect are actually made, written, or created using AI. If anyone purchases any new art, they might want to check. Maybe it doesn't bother some people if things they thought were original are not. But it feels very deceptive to me, almost like cheating.

@MarieCoyle True that, I agree it feels fake as it is but apparently the world seems to be more compromise on that, although I don't know how far would they do that.

I saw this happened to her. It is insidious AI..I think humans do not know the capabilities of it in future.

The AI use of images of celebrities used to embarrass them will be really bad. I feel bad for Taylor since she deserves her privacy and be thanked for her musical services.

@wardfcsc That is true since celebrities are human beings even though they live a glamorous life on the stage since I recently a documentary on the life of Elvis Presley where the story was despite his public image on the stage, he was human and had a hard time finding a purpose in life.

@Deepizzaguy Yes, I guess some people are just too obsessed with the celebrities until they forget that they only see one little part of their life without looking what's beyond.

There is a website called wirestock.io where you can use AI to generate images and sell. I saw photos generated by AI of king Charles dancing in a party.

All technologies have pros and cons. When a thing goes to some pick, it gets reversed automatically by nature.

I never even heard of this before. It looks like it's been around even before AI apps for so popular.

This is very scary and I'm afraid it will only get worse. I don't know what can be done about it.

@wardfcsc I know how you feel. AI can be a force for good, but if it is misused it can be very bad.
