Yesterday both my nieces were here. I'm sure many of you already know them. Radiyah is 11 years old and Ruqaiyah is 6 years old. We had so much fun yesterday.
Now that Radi is growing up, we have so many things to share. Those little things make us get closer. It was around 7:45 pm and way past her dinner time. She doesn't like eating curry but wanted to eat roti (Flatbread) and her mom didn't make it as she was tired. So she asked me to make her favorite noodle.
Upon hearing that Radi wanted roti my hubby quickly went into the kitchen and started making some for her. Now she was confused and her mood was off. She likes both but wants to eat noodles as she has set her mind on that.
Her mom was here and kept on insisting that she eat the roti instead. She ended up not wanting to eat anything. Her mood was off and she started crying. Her mom said that it was okay she could the noodles but too late as her mood was off and now she didn't even want the noodles.
So I came up with a plan to cheer her up. I whispered to her, "How about you eat the noodles for now and I will pack two rotis for you to eat at home." That made her so happy she instantly smiled and said yes. It made me so happy to see her smile.
Then while eating she praised the food and called her mom to show her how the egg should be cooked on her noodles
Whenever she goes back home it makes both of us sad. I wish we lived close and I could see her every day.
So how's your weekend? What have you been up to?

I'm glad it worked as well. It's not easy to fix her mood even her mom fails. I'm glad it worked out. Have a good day you too.
