Do you like silicone bakeware?

I like it a lot. It is easy to use and nothing really sticks. I need more though as my set is old and has some tears in the material. I will hope to order some in the next few months.

I only have 1 set piece of it currently. It is technically not a piece of bakeware, although you could use it for that. It is a round ice cube tray, and I use it to make my dishwasher tablets.

I find it quite user friendly. How much are you saving by making it? I am just using the giant bottle of liquid DW soap I bought for a song.

@snowy22315 I use the Cascade tablets every other time at the most, and haven't had to buy anymore in quite a while.

I really like my silicone baking sheets. Much easier than greasing pans.

What didn't you like about it? It is flexible so you have to be careful, but otherwise I like it.

@snowy22315 The cake does not get out "perfect" because it is flexible. I thought it would have been great for panna cotta, not at all, they came out not smooth.

@LadyDuck I guess they come out perfect enough for me. Maybe try the muffin pans..? Those are nice.

I don't think I've ever had silicone bakeware. I hope you can get more soon.

I don't have any silicone bakeware. My hubby is now in charge of the kitchen and he rarely cooks, let alone bakes. Have a good week.
