Monica Laso went to the Heavenly Ski Resort which is located in South Lake Tahoe California on Thursday with her friends when she decided to ride inside of a gondola when she entered the gondola in the afternoon when she told an employee at the ski resort that she was too tired to walk down the hill. The problem happened when the gondola stopped working two minutes after the gondola which caused Monica to scream for help from inside the gondola to the point where she almost lost her voice. For some strange reason that I do not understand, Monica was trapped inside of the gondola for 15 hours when the gondola started to work once again. What made Monica's problems worse that she did not in her possession a cellphone. When Monica's relatives reported her to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office for help. The gondola started to work on Friday morning when the members of the ski resort found Monica inside of the gondola safe and sound even though Monica was very upset over her being inside of a gondola overnight. South Lake Fire And Rescue spokesperson Kim George mentioned that the first responders took care of Moniza who is okay after her experience. Officials with the Heavenly Mountain Resort are investigating what cause the gondola to stop working on Thursday afternoon. She better be getting reimbursed for her trip. Those people are going to have to pay a heck of a lot of money for her to let that go.

That is totally unacceptable and this ski resort owes Monica quite a bit of compensation. I hate to think how something like that would have affected me with my anxiety,

The gondola should have been better monitored, as if it had been a more colder night, the young girl could have frozen in there. There should have been alerts in place, as soon as it stopped working, for workers to check if anyone was in the gondolas.

I would be scared as well if I was stuck inside of a gondola for 15 hours until rescue time.

@Hannihar It was scary for Monica since she claims she lost her voice trying to get the attention of the workers at the ski resort.
