Do you like to do puzzles and if so what kind?

I think it was last year that I started going to my sister's during the winter on a weekly basis to help put a puzzle together. I spent yesterday afternoon doing another one. Sometimes they are small enough that we get them done in a day, but other times it takes longer. A lot of times she'll finish them after I've gone back home.
I recently put puzzle app in my phone and once I load the image it'll show the one I did just a bit ago.
(I uploaded it to my phone but I must have to move it for my phone to access it).
My mom used to do puzzles, so I've done them since I was young. I've also done certain crossword puzzles, sodoku, acrostic and many others. Some no longer hold my interest like word search.

I'm not familiar with the connections game. My mom did well in crosswords until she lost her sight. I did okay in the TV guide ones

@snowy22315 I've done that one before although one friend I used to play with does much better than I do. I had an app that I played on for several years until they changed the format of their hints. Then I quit.
Do you play it in Facebook?

@LadyDuck when we move my one sister here from Detroit this coming spring, my sister that has the puzzles at her house now hopes to have a table up all the time at my Detroit sisters place.
It sounds a little pushy maybe but my Detroit sister has the beginnings of Alzheimer's and has lived in Detroit side she went to college there. I think she'll be like a duck or of water for a while. Having a puzzle going there will remind her that will be visiting soon.
If that makes sense.

When I used to read Baseball Digest magazine, I used to do the baseball related puzzles. These days I hardly have the time to even try to solve a puzzle.

I really don't like puzzles. If I am going to try to piece something together or quiz myself or find an answer I prefer to dig around in balance sheets and SEC documents to piece together what a company is doing so I can decide whether or not it's a good investment.
I know. I'm boring. lol

I don't know about boring. Weird maybe, but aren't we all? I need to piece together my income and expenses for our business for last year so I can get my taxes done. I was hoping to get them done earlier than normal but the way I'm going I'm not sure that's going to happen.

Are you talking about online hidden object games? We do one almost every day. It's an app on our device but your need wifi to play it.

@MarshaMusselman I haven't done a puzzle in awhile but I've been thinking of getting one to do. My hesitation is not having space to do it where I can work on it at my leisure. Most of my free time is spent crocheting these days

@Marilynda1225 I would need to use my kitchen table for a jigsaw puzzle and that usually has stuff in it. One day I hope to have a home for everything again.

@JudyEv since we don't clean many windows in the winter months that gives me more time to do a weekly puzzle. Once we do start doing windows I may still be able to fit them in each week or so, if she still has them out since I won't have to go to my second job anymore.

Sodoku is challenging but easier in a book because your can use a pencil for ones your not sure about and a pen for definites. It can get confusing on an app or online depending on how they're set up.

I'm not sure what one that is, not that I know them all.
Have your ever seen boggle? That one has mixed up letters on a grid and your have three seconds to find as many three letter words and more. There was an online word game that was set up that way.

I've done a lot of them years back when that's all there was. My kids do a game night once a month for their siblings and friends and they have a collection of board games.
What do your teach and what age groups?

@MarshaMusselman Wow, nice, must be a fancy board games collection. I teach English for communication, specific purpose as well as academic. Basically I teach all age groups from kids to adult, but my favorite ones are young adults and university students.
