What happens if you cash a check from your employer and it bounces??

I’m posting here to see if anyone has ever gone through something like this.
We have been having issues at the store I work at where for the last two weeks my paycheck has bounced. The first one I cashed at my normal bank which is not the bank they write the checks from but the bank never notified me that the check bounced nor did they take the money back. This was on 1/19 and as of today I still have not been notified and they have not taken any money out of my account.
Does this mean that they are going to go after the person that gave me the check?
No I didn’t know it was going to bounce when I cashed it. And I only found out it bounced when my boss told me about the problem with my check.
A week later 1/26, the store now has new owners and my coworker called me to tell me her check bounced and when I informed the owners and the store manager they let me know that mine would also bounce if I tried to cash it.
Another week later, I have another check from them currently in my purse. I’m scared to go cash it even though they say the problems have been fixed. I’m so glad that this is my last week of working at the store. Having 3 jobs is too much.

Because these are payroll checks, perhaps the banks are cashing them anyway? I have no idea. I would stop working there immediately. I would suspect something is wrong with the business' finances and that will bode no good for anyone, especially you. That last check may be worthless.

Go to the bank where it was written and ask if the money is there. If it is cash it and take the other two checks there if you get them back.
