It's raining. I was hoping to walk to church today, but I guess I'll have to wait for a ride. 
Church this morning, and then home to stay dry, post on here, and then continue a letter and get a couple of other things ready for the mail this week. Come to think of it, I should do some reading.

Be very careful! It's very rainy and windy down here in Atascadero (the central coast of California). The management didn't clean out the gutters so they are overflowing right now (I wondered why the floor to my apartment was wet last week, now I know. (
) Anyhow, we were warned that there would be severe weather from here to Long Beach with flooding expected from Santa Barbara to Long Beach (like they had last week). I'm glad that I stocked up on necessities (especially the cat supplies-dry cat food, canned cat food, kitty litter, cat treats...all the usual stuff for spoiling the brats) with the last of the stuff being bought yesterday. Now I can kick back and work on bears and watch the old reruns of "The Lone Ranger" on You Tube.
Enjoy your rainy weather. God makes it so that we will not only enjoy it and thank him for it, but also so that we will take the time to do things that we have put off. Or in my case, work on my favorite artistic endeavors. The first thing I did this morning was to thank God for the rainy weather and the wonderfulness that comes with it.

It was mighty windy/rainy here in Petaluma, too! It was a while before a lot of us left church today (good place to be stuck) because we didn't want to go out in it!

Since Juanita was still here this morning, we went to church, too. Not raining here, but the church is too far to walk. Now she's gone home to cater to her two kitties.
