I was wondering if anyone has any unique ideas for book marketing? I've covered all the basics.
I created an Author Website, started a blog, optimized my site for search engines, have a guest post lined up, participating in online forums, Using social media (Mainly X and Facebook. I also am hosting an event, posted book trailers on YouTube, Joined book related groups on Facebook, and offer exclusive content on my website.
I have a Goodreads account, and I have a Wattpad account.
I have little to no money to invest in a professional marketer.
I'm also told I have great books, and great covers... but I'm getting 0-2 sales a month if I'm lucky and no Kindle Unlimited reads at all.

You're doing everything you need to. How much word of mouth are you doing? Do you belong to a writer's group? Have you contacted Mom and Pop bookstores about putting your books on their shelves? I have my books in five bookstores including Barnes and Noble locally.
I don't know a lot about marketing. Most of my sales are done at book signings. A signing I just had in November was because I put my books in the bookstore. They had a book signing for all the local authors they represent. I sold four books, and another full set went to the bookstore. The writer's club I belong to also sold books at a winter flea market last year. This year the venue is too small.
Another thing I did was to talk to a group of people at a local book club. I sold quite a few books that way.

Unfortunately, my books are exclusively on Amazon. So, I can't get them into Mom and Pop bookstores. I can check the box for distribution if I want. That puts the paperback available for bookstores and libraries in the states at least. I haven't done much word of mouth yet. I have been thinking about putting a flyer up at the local store here. I have been thinking about getting a couple author copies and donating them to the library here, if they would take them.
Also, been wondering if I should invest in business cards and leave them around in places hoping someone would pick them up. I belong to a few writers groups on FB, but none that are local. There are few here, and the only one I can find meets regularly, and I live on the outskirts of town. You are right though, I need to try to spread the word more, maybe I can find some more ideas to do this.

@just4him Oh, okay. I'll look into this. I might also get a couple of copies for giveaway contests instead then. I'll contact the library and see if they are interested. I also may eventually get enough copies to sell to some small book stores. I forgot that the paperbacks aren't limited like the ebooks on Amazon.

@indiandevil I have my books on Amazon. I publish through KDP. I bought enough books for book signings and to sell them to bookstores. Barnes and Noble was a surprise. They got them into the store without my knowledge. I found out one day when a friend saw them there. I also have enough on hand so I can sell them outright. I always discount what they can buy them for online. That way, I come out ahead with royalties, which are almost nothing because people are more into eBooks today than paperback.
As for the library, talk to the person in charge of getting books into the library. You'll need to fill out a form so they can get them into the library. Don't give them your author copies. They won't take them anyway.
