This is a new way of farming which has been developed by Norway for their fish production which is claimed to be more environment-friendly. Is it a new idea or has such concept been considered for a while? how about fish farming in your country?

Shellfish farming (in the sea) is very common in France. It works also for shrimps, so I suppose it will work for other kind of fish.

@wardfcsc Yes, they do. Agriculture and agri-food were the sector with France’s third-largest trade surplus, standing at Euro 8 billion.France has a 5% market share in global trade, as the sixth-largest agri-food exporter worldwide.

Interesting, does France export their farming products to the neighbouring countries too?

Not so sure about the environmentally friendly claims. Not seen fish farming in the sea, I've seen the river farms for Tilapia and Kariba Bream, which was pretty successful. I've seen oyster farming, which went bust as a result of toxicity of the water as they did not have enough abalone to clean up.

Yes, that's what I have in mind too. Such has its own challenge instead.
