I've never eaten bottlegourd. Every country has its own particular products I guess.

Parshe fish is a kind of mullet? That will be good with potatoes. I'm going to try bottle gourd (none here at the market this week) with rice and peas soon, thanks for the idea.
Last mullets I caught were too small so we used them as bait for cob fish.
