What a morning so far.

Now I can say good morning. After nearly sleeping the day away the past couple of days, George got up and out of bed a little after eight this morning. I got a partical refill on one of George's meds, so there's that. Because of that George and I just got back from picking it up, and now he's sitting in the sun. We may or may not see the speach therapist today, only time will tell.

I was just being worried for nothing. I didn't have that bad feeling, just worried. He's doing better today though.

@kaylachan - As he has been very unwell it's normal to get worried.

@LadyDuck Yes, I know. I'm glad that he's rebounding nicely. And, while I wore him out, he's talking a bit more clearly today. So I think it helped in a lot more ways.

He sure has. Taking him out in public, isn't really that bad.

@LindaOHio To qualify for rehab, he has to be medically stable.

@MarieCoyle Yes. I'm well aware he's got a long way to go. He has a lot of things to work on. But, if I can focus on one area at a time. I'll take it. I got him to eat a thing of pudding yesterday. Couldn't get him to eat the ravioli. I didn't expect him, to. I just know he's doing so well.

You are a good encourager for him. Like you said in the beginning, it's baby steps, but they all do add up to progress.

Yes, only time will tell. Enjoying the sun is a nice way to spend time for now.

I am glad it sounds like he is getting a little bit better. Many people seem to make a pretty good recovery on strokes. Its pretty remarkable I always think.

I don't doubt he'll make a full recovery, if not near-full recovery.

I wouldn't have minded if he decided to sleep until at least ten.

I'm just glad he's behaving more like himself. Giving little complaint when we went to the VA.

I'm glad George is enjoying some sunshine. Good morning to you too.
My day was good. I spent half of it in town during a public lecture.

Great news! I’m sure he will take a while to recover from tiring so quickly after doing things. I know when I’m sick it takes me a week or two to “get my strength back,” and that’s a little head cold not a stroke!!!
