What is your devotional time with God like?

It's different for most people. For some God is distant or some feel He is out of reach, while others spend 2 hours reading their Bible, praying and singing praises to Him. Do you spend 5 minutes in a devotional book, close it and go about your day? What about knowing God's presence.
When I spend time seeking God, I put Him first and spend about an hour altogether reading the Bible with a through the Bible in a year and a half program, praying and praise/worship time. I feel His presence and hear His voice leading me in my decisions for the day.
The Bible says in Matthew 6:33-we should seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all that is needed and more will be given to us as well. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.

I like it when I do bible study with other people, it motivated me to read the bible. When I'm alone I don't do devotions because I prefer being together with other christians. It's challenging when I'm alone.

I talk with him through out the day, & pray at night
& worship him every single morn when I wake up.
I know he is there, I know he is listening, I know
he watch's over those that love him & blesses them.
