Was My Plate Alive?

Sometimes I guess just a slight movement when the shutter clicks, and you get some weird effect going on.
Or my plate is alive, and the food is literally trying to run away.
It was just simply braised chicken breast points with some macaroni and cheese and buttered peas on the side. I guess I didn't check to make sure I had a good shot before I walked away to eat.
I was hungry, though.
What went on your dinner table last night? Did your food also try to run away?

Today I fried some breaded chicken thighs, boiled cabbage, and baked loaded potatoes. They tasted the best that food has tasted to me in a while. None of it moved until moved to my fork.

@1creekgirl I am glad to hear it. Did they ever figure out what was going on with that?

I had an extra Meals on Wheels meal last night. Swedish meatballs, noodles, cauliflower and mixed veggies. Have a good weekend.

Yesterday was the first day of the Year of the Dragon. We have quite a lavish family dinner. We had roast chicken, sweet and sour pork, fried tiger prawns, braised Shiitake Mushrooms with dried scallops, steamed fish, mixed vegetables, fried rice and sweet red bean soup.

The shot might not be perfect but the meal is well presented.
I had cornmeal with meat stew for dinner.

The shot definitely missed the mark, but at least I was still able to find a way to post about it with a little workaround. Your dinner sounds really good too. I am making a beef stew of sorts tonight for dinner and it should be good. Fingers crossed.

It was more than likely trying to run away ha ha ha
knowing you were fixing to chow down on it.
