Another successful outing. / myLot

George and I just got home from the VA clnic and a trip to Aldi. I kept the shopping short, giving George plenty of time to rest. He had a bit of trouble with giving his name and social to the lab tech, but she came out and spoke to me. So that went as well as expected. I got us the basics at Aldi, things I've been needing. Plus a handful of treats for me. We had no ride issues. I realize it's a bit expencive to get a ride to the store, but it saves me money on delivary fees or risking not having what I need. I've used Uber eats before, and will use it in the future, but there are times where my only option is in-person. George is resting outside, and we might see rain later this afternoon. I have laundry to do, but thought I'd pop on in and update everyone on my day thus far.

It's good you gave us an update. I'm glad you had no ride issues. It's nice knowing that George is doing well. My day was okay and I'm now in bed ready to sleep.

I have the same issues with our two stores that deliver here. I'd like to Zoom when they are choosing certain items and tell them which I want.

Even if that was an option, I wouldn't see enough detail to tell. But, at the end of the day, as long as I have options I know we won't starve.

We're doing great so far. Even though we had to go out and do some traveling, we got a lot done.

I never think about going in and out of a store. Then when I hear how hard it is for George and what steps you have to take I appreciate my every step even more. Keep getting better and I will be cheering you on.
