Birthday, wonderful surprise and visiting

Monday my daughters and I went grocery shopping. I stopped at Dunkin and tried a White hazelnut bark iced coffee and it was really good! I dropped off items to recycle at DSW and Best Buy.
When we got to Aldis I realized I had left my keys in the car. Thankfully my car has an awesome feature that it won’t lock if the keys are still in the ignition.
Tuesday I dropped off a bag of broken crayons to a girl who melted them down into different molds to make fun shaped crayons for her boys.
Wednesday I bought ice cream and went to my parent’s house to celebrate my dad’s birthday.
For Christmas my two year old had gotten a book that didn’t work. It took me awhile to find batteries to fit it but that wound up not being the problem either. I emailed the company and they asked me what she liked and said they would send me the replacement book. What you see in the photo is ALL that they sent to her. We were so shocked. It was so unexpected for us and so kind of them.
Thursday was a beautiful day so my little one and I went for a walk around the property.
Friday my little one and I relaxed a lot and read lots of books together.
Saturday I made No make peanut butter oatmeal cookies and used leftover Turkey to make a pot pie for the guys.
Sunday my daughter’s coworker came over to hang out with her. He is autistic. A little lower on the spectrum than my son is I think. My daughter has sensory processing disorder and feels they understand each other well.
At 3pm my husband, my two year old and I went to his parents house to visit and his sister and her two children went as well.

@LadyDuck yes I have many times locked my keys in the car like that I’m so glad this time they were left in the ignition. Wouldn’t have been the worst thing since I have AAA but it would have put a dent in our time waiting for a locksmith to come.

@Judyev it sure was! I emailed them when I got the package to thank them and they actually thanked me for taking the time to thank them and said a lot of people don’t. Wow people are terrible. This company went above and beyond it’s sad people don’t think to thank them after they do something so generous!

That was really sweet of the company to send all those. Your little one must have quite the book collection at this point! It sounds like you had a good couple of days. I love Dunkin's coffee but I rarely get it because it is usually afternoon when I am by there and am afraid it will interfere with my sleep.

@snowy22315 my little one really does have a ton of books. Some in the photos are DVDs but most everything else is hers.

@celticeagle I would have been happy just to get the same book that wouldn’t work. This was so unexpected and so amazing of them!

@Happy2Beme I know I never ever expected something like that to happen. It was so unexpected and we are so lucky they were so kind to do this. I have a very happy little girl.

@Lindaohio this company went above and beyond. We were so suprised. I shared about it here but not at Facebook because I think if people there who saw how generous this company was they would lie and say things didn’t work to get a bunch of free stuff. I had to share about it somewhere though since it was just to amazing not to and knew it would be safe here.
