Do you stay invisible from everybody sometimes on WhatsApp?

I noticed this in people I know. I can't see when they were online on WhatsApp. Sometimes I use this option because I don't want anyone to see me. I do this when I want to take a break and I don't want to talk to anyone. I think this is a useful option. When we had the old Messenger I was invisible often when I didn't want to talk. Do you think this is a useful option? Do you use this option? If yes, why do you use it?

I dont use WhatsUp but I do use the option on FB when I don't feel to talk with anyone.I think it is a great option. I don't always feel like chatting when on FB sometimes I just want to scroll.

@dya80dya I tried the invisible option on FB last night and it also shut off being able to see everyone else even though I had that option on. I also saw that one option is to select some to see you and others to not see you. Maybe that is why you are visible to some and not others.

Yes, sometimes we need a break. But, weirdly, I can be on invisible on Facebook, but I still appear online to many people.

The few people I interact with use WhatsApp and I had to use it too. I disliked this app a lot.

Since I have no idea what this app is I don't use it. So in that case, I guess you could say I am invisible on WhatsApp. On Facebook you used to be able to set it so you were invisible. I preferred it that way and still do. Since I am using my laptop right now until I get my new ROKU remote, I have to listen to my YouTube music playlists while I sleep. I never shut down my other tabs though maybe I should. But the other night, well early morning, a friend woke me up by messaging me why was I still up that late at night. LOL It was because she could see that I was "online" since my laptop was still on. Being invisible would have been great!

@dya80dya Normally I only use my laptop for Facebook. I rarely use my phone for apps. For me my phone is a phone, and a camera. That is about it.

This happened to me too. I was online even if I was sleeping. And they asked me why I was not answering. Are you invisible on all your devices on Facebook? If I am invisible on my computer, on my phone people can still see me.

I don't do that but If I don't want to reply I just ignore and keep the phone away.
