It is cold and sunny outside. Fortunately, it is going to warm up because I plan on power walking today. I was reading that is the best way to lose weight. Basically it consists of getting your heart rate up for a period of time. I usually just stroll so although better than sitting on the couch it probably isn't burning that many calories. I just had a combination of vanilla yogurt and cottage cheese with my breakfast. I put blueberries and blackberries on top. A nice breakfast. What did you have?

@snowy22315 My heart rate is higher than normal, it has always been since I was born. I must always be sure to slow down if I feel it's speeding too much.

I don't care for heat waves at all. I would rather it be cold. At least your heat is probably a dry heat.

I walk the house five days a week. I walk from the guest bedroom to my bedroom until I reach 2,200 steps.

It was cold and raining this morning, and it did not change for the entire day, brrr. In honour of the cold, we cooked millet in milk and had it with dried fruit, walnuts, honey and a very carefully measured teaspoon of peanut butter. Enjoy your walk. Just don't try that olympic walking thing where you have to lock your hips, that is too much.
