Gas Prices Down Again in California.

I put more than ten gallons in my tank in the 'hood the other day. Gas was only $4.09, or something like that, in Antioch CA. But at my local discount station, gas prices have dropped from $4.59/gallon to $4.39/gallon in a week. Don't ask me why. I haven't studied Economics since college. I still have half a tank (bought in the 'hood), so I'll chill and see how things go. Are gas prices going up or down in your area?

I have no idea, but I have read that the crude oil is going down, so the price should go down. Considering how much the $ lost against the Swiss Franc and that crude oil is paid in $ I wonder why it does not go down at least 8%!!! Cheaters!

@TheHorse .......Do they figure the prices by amount people make in a given area or what?

@celticeagle I am not sure how that works. I know that the prices are higher near freeways. That's true in other states as well.

Maybe Biden is a genius. Maybe gas prices have nothing to do with Presidents. Heh.

I'm glad they're dropping. I've seen a drop but only by a couple of cents.

Interesting. Over here I have read that prices are coming down, but can't say I've that reflected on the forecourt. Mind you, I am not looking that closely as I don't run a car

Understood. They have been fluctuating here in California within a limited range for a couple of months.

@TheHorse I watch the US News channels on YouTube and see the price of petrol is closely tied to the state of politics

Gas was around $3.21 yesterday. Hasn't moved since a few days ago. Have a good weekend.

It's still $4.39 at my discount station and about 30 cents less in the "'hood."
