When Something Just Makes You Say Yuck

Happy Thursday Everyone! I didn't sleep very well last night so I'm relying on my coffee to charge my battery. Needless to say, my morning is off to a slow start. On one of the tv morning shows there was a segment about drizzling olive oil on ice cream. Immediately I thought "oh no!" I don't care how good they said it tastes it's not something I would even consider trying. I have about 100 other toppings I would prefer and the first would be chocolate syrup followed by a variety of other choices (nuts, coconut, m&ms, whipped cream, etc) Have you ever heard of or tried olive oil on ice cream?

Makes you wonder how something like this could become popular. Who thinks up this stuff

Yeah, no thanks. I actually prefer my ice cream without toppings. I'll cook with olive oil not so much for flavor but for healthy reasons.

No, that is not my kind of type of food adventure. I’m not interested in the ever popular avocado ice cream either.

Me either. There's enough flavors of ice cream without having to experiment with new flavors, etc. Avacodo doest appeal to me at all.

No, and it doesn't sound good to me. The flavor components are incompatible if you ask me.

I haven't heard of that one and I do not understand why it would be appealing, when as you say, there are many other choices.

Yuck, that is just not an obvious topping. I think that the oil would get thick and well, yuck. I would think the toppings that you suggested, any fresh fruit and sauces-chocolate, strawberry pineapple and so on. But olive oil, no, maybe if you are Popeye, but not for the general public.

I've never heard of this but then salted caramel sounded a bit bizarre when it first came out. My favourite would be a strawberry topping.

No. . Sacrilege. If they said it tastes good its because they got paid. I will not torture my tastebuds or insides for money.
