Waiting in line to talk to a bot

This is actually part of a study. I am gonna wait 5 or 10 more minutes .because I have to get off and talk to a real chatbot about a different matter. I hope the second chat is smart. I hate talking to dumb bots. At least most of the time a human is not far away. What is your feeling about talking to bots?

I haven't had to deal with speaking to a bot yet.

@JudyEv Someday you are going to have to have a head to head with Vince and let him impart his phone wisdom..or phoney, baloney!

@snowy22315 Vince deals with most of the phone sh*t here. I know I need to be able to but so far I'm dodging it.

I prefer the human as long as they actually speak English well. If i get a person who does not speak well, give me the bot.

Yes, no fun having to ask someone what they said 5 times.

@snowy22315 I don't know why they hire people you can't understand for a customer service job

So far, I don’t like it. The ones I have interacted with so far are not advanced enough to solve my issue without eventually transferring me to a real person. I’m sure plenty exist that could, just none of them have made it into my orbit yet.

That's the problem with them..unless you have the simplest of questions..they are unable to help you.

I have had very little exposure with dealing with a bot. Only when I check my delivery status with Staples, otherwise none that I can recall.

I talk to them fairly frequently. The one this AM wasn't too bad though. I got a follow up email from a human staff.

I'm sorry, I do not understand. Talking to a bot is useless. Dial zero to talk to a real human who probably does not understand either.

Yeah, but you have a better chance with a human than a bot!

@snowy22315 Bots are programmed for only a few words. Just like the human operators are only trained to say a few phrases in English.

Today a bot called me twice. I refused to answer the first time. I don't care about bots, they don't bother me.

Well, my experience with bots varies. Some are really helpful and solve problems efficiently, but others can be frustrating. I hope your next interaction is more positive and the chatbot is smarter! Personally, I prefer talking to real people when possible.

I would go along with the thing to real people. At least they can usually help!
