Now is the time for Girl Scout cookies> I think there’s seven varieties this year. I bought some Thin Mints at Valley Fair in San Jose recently. Do any of you have a favorite flavor? There is a chocolate cookies that looks good. It is similar to the chocolage from years ago. I also like the peanut butter ones. Apparently now each scout can have her own site to sell cookies online. That should save some time,. Did anyone sell them as a child?

@LadyDuck I was wondering because Great Britain has a version of Girl Scouts, as well as other countries.

Yes I was a Girl Scout and sold cookies. Things are much easier these days with being able to buy then online and not having to go door to door. I love Thin Mints too

I think Thin Mints are the most popular flavor. I like the peanut butter types too.

I have never had a Girl Scout cookie. Oddly, only once has anyone tried to sell them to me, and at the time I had no cash. I’ve bought things from kids for their organizations many times, but it has never been Girl Scout cookies. I don’t eat cookies, but I’d love to buy a box and give them to someone.

@Aquitaine24 Oh, lord. Candy bars, jewelry, sausage, and frozen pizza to name a few. None of it have I kept though. I offer the candy bars back to the kids so they can have a freebie, and the other stuff I give to my friends and family. I did hear the sausage and pizza were good.

@AmbiePam so you contribute and buy gifts at the same time. That’s efficient.

I did sell them, and I bought a box of Toffee tastic a couple of weeks ago, when I saw them being sold.

@Aquitaine24 I did, I have eaten the whole box..because there weren't very many cookies in it. I liked them even though they were gluten free. I love toffee!

I have not bought Girl Scout Cookies in many decades. They ae far too expensive for the few little cookies that are in the boxes. Also, they have taken away the best kinds and replaced them with kinds I do not like. Whenever they would put a new kind in that I did like, sooner or later they removed them as well.

I used to love them, look forward to them, and go overboard every year with them. Now I find them to be overpriced and more hype than good. I haven't really bought any in a few years.
