Remember my dad’s voice problem last year?

Some of you might remember around this time last year my dad had trouble with his voice after having six vertebrae in his neck replaced. He couldn’t communicate in more than a whisper, but after a shot to his vocal cords, his voice gradually came back completely. It took three months, but he fully recovered.
He noticed at his brother/sister Valentine’s Day party when they started singing, he was having trouble. He has a speaking engagement the second week of March, but he may have to cancel if his appointment with his surgeon turns up any problems. The soonest he could get an appointment with him was March 4th. I guess we’ll see what they say.

I wonder why he is having problems now when he was fully recovered? Seems odd. Hope all goes well at the appointment.

Oh, Amber, I pray he's not having the same issues as before. I'll sure add my prayers to yours. Please keep us updated.

Yes, you’re right. I was shocked he got in March fifth. I had to change my cardiologist appointment from earlier this month, and the next time they could get me in was June, so his upcoming appointment surprised me on how soon it was. I know cardiologists are more in demand, but still, any specialist is usually hard to schedule.

I hope it is something temporary. Like allergies.

Gee I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Maybe he needs another shot to his vocal cords? Certainly hope it's nothing that cant be fixed.

I hope it goes well, and he regains his voice.
