My least favorite quality in a person is when they are unreliable When you agree to a time and then they change that time and they still don't live up to the new agreed time and show up almost 2 hours late. The best quality in someone is honesty but the second best is reliability Whether that's in a job a delivery or providing a service. Being on time and within the specified time is so important. If you are going to be late please have the decency to call and tell them so they aren't wasting their time wondering why you didn't show up or wondering if you were going to show up at all. In a workplace situation please don't wait till your shift starts to call in sick, call as soon as you know so the place of work can find someone to cover you while you are away. People who think oh they won't mind if I'm late they will forgive me, they might but they are less likely to want to trust you to do things in the future. Dependability and reliability are as important as honesty because you are wasting their time I could even say you are stealing their time because you are.
