A very windy Monday

This morning when I woke up, I thought the train station had a glut of freight trains coming in. Turns out the roaring was actually a strong gale force wind (80 km/h +, 9 Beaufort). And it is freezing, must be coming directly from the North Pole, brrrr.
So much for spring in the air. But we did get a nice photo of some blossoms yesterday. We braved the cold and the wind and went to get fresh bread for supper. Not surprisingly, many of the street vendors are not out today, and those that are out are so wrapped up you can hardly recognise them.
I cooked some beans, added that to some beetroot and pumpkin for a nice soup which hit the spot and made us a warm for a bit. And my beans were cooked properly, so we are not going to make the wind stronger
Hope your Monday did not blow in the blues and that you have a wonderful week ahead

The beans..I am glad it is strong wind.
We had been having a lot of wind here too lately..all sorts.
The blossoms are glorious..no blossoms here yet.
That fresh bread sounds divine.

Yeah when the winds get to blowing there's a lot of things
we have to put on hold till it stops or slows down, so Sunday
was just a day to wish we could get something done but the
winds had other plans, so I just stayed in the cabin & worked.
