House Republicans are refusing to vote on aid to Ukraine because Trump told them not to. He does not want to assist Zelensky and Ukraine because he was impeached for attempting to extort Zelensky and because he supports Russia and Putin.
What Republicans and Trump supporters do not understand is that You grains is fighting Russia so we don’t have to. If Ukraine falls it’s not like Putin would just stop there. He’d move on to Poland or Estonia or another formerly occupied NATO country. . . and then America would have to get involved in the war.
Ukraine isn’t asking America to fight its war. It is literally begging for assistance so they can fight it themselves. For all of their “America First” opinions, it is incredibly shortsighted of Republicans to deny them the aid they desperately need. And if Trump wins a second term you can be sure that he will pull us out of NATO. Then we’d have World War III. America needs to give Ukraine what they need to win.

It isn't just a US issue as there are concerns here in the UK about the amount being spent on Ukraine.
My genuine opinion is that there needs to be a negotiated peace but tbh Ukraine may have to make some compromises that publicly they say they aren't willing to make.
I absolutely can not see Russia invading a NATO country...the professionals there know what'd have to happen and I think there'd be a rebellion.
Currently Russia can not even beat Ukraine...not putting Ukraine down they're hard as F but they aren't a western trained military force...outside of nuclear options if NATO went into war they'd walk over Russia in months if not weeks.

They should make concessions because they aren't winning, the appetite amongst many supporting countries is lessening...and in some areas the majority of the people are ethnic russian so give them up for peace...then in a few years have a peaceful referendum.
Bloomberg recently said more Ukrainians are ready for some territorial concessions to Russia.
Do I think the current Russian regime is right...NO...they're gangsters at best but actual war criminals.

You've made the claim a few times that Russia is going to invade Europe. What are you basing this fear of an invasion of Europe on? There is no percentages to invade the EU - it has too much debt, it has no natural resources Russia needs nor does it have space Russia needs, except for that corridor called Poland through which more than few European countries have invaded Russia. And that corridor is Putin's fear, it has been the fear of Russian leaders since forever.
Let's see: If you count from the Napoleonic wars, Russia has been fighting off an European invasion on average every 35 years, and every single one of those invasions came through Poland. Do not begin to count the millions killed by those wars started by Europeans. And now you have NATO pushing for expansion to the Ukraine - that will not do. The Crimean issue was already a failure of Western diplomacy.
I personally do not care if your president throws money you do not have at Ukraine. The USA is literally drowning in debt and is a reckless lender at this time. So it is not technically your money going there. However, some decent diplomacy might be in order here. Something along the lines of giving Ukraine EU membership with ironclad assurances that a military presence on Russia's doorstep is not going to happen. Then maybe that war and its useless loss of life can be stopped. I'm not an apologist for Putin, he is past his sell by date by some margin. But having said that, there are very good reasons why that war started, and it has very little to do with any imperialistic notions Putin might have. So I really do have to wonder why there is notion that Russia is going to invade Europe and that there must be money tossed at Ukraine to prevent it.

NATO is a defensive alliance.
Do you think NATO has aspirations...in any way shape or form, to invade Russia?
I don't think it does
Russia has invaded another country, that is a fact.
You say there's a very good reason the war started well I call B s1t on that totally...there was NO reason for this war apart from dinosaurs looking back to the days of the failed USSR
Russia is unfortunately run by a f t*rd that uses horrible poisons in a country that is not hostile to russia in any way.
Millions in the UK owe their freedom in no small part to the Russians that fought in WW2...they were and are our allies...just their government that's a bit fkd up at the moment.

I still don´t understand what the majority of your Republicans think .Ukraine needs help for many reasons. We don´t want a WWIII because there are 2 insane people governing both sides of the world.
