This is a picture of what is on my only kitchen shelf, and you can really see my love of flamingos. 
I’m not quite sure when I got flamingo happy, but there it is. I was wondering about any decorations in your kitchen?
*The picture is of my sister when she was twelve, a Glamour shot. Do you guys remember those? I had mine done when I was thirteen.

Your shelf is very colorful and happy. I don't have a shelf to decorate. I do remember Glamor shots, I had one when I turned 40.

@AmbiePam The 'outfit' that they had us wearing in those days, was less than your sister appears to be wearing. Mine looked like I was wearing a red feathered boa, on bare shoulders, and of course the earrings and pearls and makeup, but from the waist up it doesn't look like I'm wearing anything else.
It was definitely a 'bedroom only' picture.

There are a few Decor stuff that my wife has kept in the kitchen.
Some folk art and more.
Your Flamingo love is clearly visible.

We have little nick nacks on one of our kitchen windows and pictures sprinckled around the space. But, we don't really overly decorate our kitchen.

@AmbiePam Same here. Our kitchen is an eat-in kitchen. But, that's not really how we use it, LOL.

I have never had a glamor shot and I do not have a kitchen shelf to decorate. I like to find useful things printed in a decorative way and frame and hang them. Like common substitutions and measurements in my preferred color scheme.

I noticed the flamingoes 
. No kitchen decorations here . . . just houseplants on a small wide table under the big window. I remember my friends getting those Glamour shots in high school - I never did though - I could barely stand looking at my school photos

Don't have a kitchen shelf in my apartment--but back at my house, Dad had but a big buffet on one side of the kitchen, and on top of the cupboards that went with it, he had a bunch of collectibles that he'd found under houses, like old milk bottles and stuff.

Thank you. You know what I remember most about my Glamour Shots? That a fifty year old woman who looked like she’d been through the wringer came in because her husband told her she needed to take care of herself better. I thought, well, maybe she’s doing the best she can!

Our kitchen is too cluttered and doesn't have a shelf. I remember glamour shots. Have a good day.

I don't have much of decors in my kitchen except for a real creeper plant in a bottle on the side of the kitchen dish. I have few beautiful planners and schedule keepers on my refrigerator. That's it.
But my shelf is neatly kept and is well organised

I don't really have a decorative shelf in my kitchen. But yours is beautiful. And oh, glamour shots. I remember those, but never did feel the need to get one. But they are nice to have!
