... For my husband's website which I built without any previous experience I might add.
When I couldn't find the CSR anywhere a few months ago I paid for a pro version of something that I thought would do that for me. But it turned out that wasn't the case. A person there that I emailed sent me 12 pages of instructions on how to locate the CSR on my hosting site.
I was able to follow the instructions to a certain point. From there I got out the email from the hosting company but couldn't find what they were instructions me to do.
It turned out that there was two sections labeled security. One was the hosting manager page and the other under my website manager. I had to get the CSR from the latter and copy and paste it into a place under my hostng manager page.
It took me calling the hosting support line to figure the rest out. I did find out that once I got the CSR in the right spot that they take care of the rest related to that and I don't need to.
I also found out that I have free email for my domain with that hosting package. Which I should check as I'll be getting a verification that I did everything correctly.
Now that that's done I can concentrate on finishing my paperwork for window cleaning and then start on my design business so I can see my accountant hopefully next week.
(I know this is a lot of gibberish).
The image is the second Easter journals I've designed. The graphic says, 'silly rabbit, Easter is for Jesus'. I've not uploaded this one yet. (It's the front and back cover). I have another one already published and I'm working on a third.
(Additional info).
I'm glad I wrote about this and found it just now because the hosting company says they need it again. I understood that it would be done automatically from then on.
I'm going to make a copy of this for when I need it again, unless I find I already did that.

That must have felt like an accomplishment. And for sure you learnt a lot of new things while trying to figure this out
What is this paperwork for window cleaning? Sorry, I couldn't understand that.

We own a small cleaning company but we mostly only clean windows anymore. I need to get all my info into my computer, bills paid and that sort of thing so I can let my accountant do his part.
Because I've been trying to figure out the CSR I've not finished my bookkeeping as early as I hoped.
Now that I'm retired from the one job I hope to do better keeping up.

@arunima25 it would but I'm behind already as I've not reconciled my statements from the first two months yet although when I finally sit down to do so it shouldn't take very long since we only do a few jobs each month during the winter months.

@MarshaMusselman Oh! I see. Now I get it. Thank you for your clarification. That keeping up would be a nice engagement in retirement years.

@MarshaMusselman - An email always comes with a domain.

@LadyDuck I found that out after talking to my brother although he didn't know exactly who he had the email thru, whether the domain registrar or the hosting company. I believe mine is actually they the hosting company rather than the registrar.

@just4him I tried to edit the graphic but I'm doing so it removed the cross. So I uploaded it as it is here. Then I noticed in Amazon that others had a similar graphic that was capitalized. I intend to find another one and redo the cover for next year so it's right.

I'm in my car and can't look closer. Is that in the spine or the graphic? Odd the graphic, I'm not sure if I can figure out how to change it I'll check though.

Is this the first at that you've heard that I'm designing journals? I hope by next year to move up and start doing planners, and activity books.

@paigea some of it isn't technical at all.
Now setting up my husband's website was a bit more difficult than designing my journals. For that I followed a book and a you tube video. I took a page our but now I wish I'd left it in as I can't figure out certain aspects of how to get what I need in the page.
That is more technical and I'm not sure I'm up to it.

@MarshaMusselman I knew you were designing journals.
That technical stuff is way out of my league.

Sometimes with these things persistence is the key. Luckily with computers there is usually a work around if your first instinct or try doesn't work.

I'm glad you got everything figured out even if it took you so long. That sounds very tedious.

Tedious is exactly what it was. The thing I couldn't figure out is why I had to do the work when it resulted in their site all along. But I suppose that would mean they'd need a lot more help just for that.
