Back home friends.

I am back from a lot of things I did in these 2 days.
I went to the doctor. I had offered my keys to my neighbor and at the last minute I discovered that something was wrong with my cellphone so I was not able to call an Uber. I told my neighbor that and she offered first to take me to a bigger street where I could get taxis and later on she took me to the doctor.
After the doctor I walked to a big street to get a normal taxi. And yesterday, after lunch, Dixie and I walked to a place where they will make my new glasses.
I also bought some avocados and some sweet and sour delicious sauce at a Chinese shop.
I had told Dixie that I wanted to buy a small Thermos bottle so that I could keep the water from the heater hot. Dixie had just bought a giant Thermos bottle so the offered me her old smaller one. And that was exactly what I needed.
A few years ago I gave away my Thermos bottles to my eldest daughter and to my eldest grandson. That´s the story of my life. I give away things and then I have to buy them again.
I missed mylotting, dear friends.

Aren´t we nice? I gave a while ago a very good and expensive painting to one of Dixie´s girls (the only who is an artist). But now, every time I see that part of the wall with a paint that is not as good, I miss it. Yet my daughters have no idea of paintings. They have posters at their houses and drawings made by their children when they were little. They are not interested in any one of the painting I have.

@marguicha We are too nice. My husband gave a painting of my niece because she liked, now we miss that one that would be perfect on one of our walls.

I always say that I´ll think twice before I give things away but then I forget.

Sounds like a busy time for you. I hope your cell phone works now.
I've done the same thing--given something I had away, thinking I would not need it, and then trying to hunt up a replacement. We live and learn, I guess! Glad you are home safely, I am sure Luna was happy to see you.

Dixie could not fix well my phone but it is better. Still, I cannot call an Uber from my house. But on March 12 I´ll have new lenses.

Well, if it cannot be fixed, I do hope you can replace it. In this day and age, we all pretty much need a cell phone. I am glad you are getting new lenses. I need to do that soon, too.

I was specially interested in my pain pills. And I took a big walk with Dixie to have my lenses done.

It's good to see you back safe and sound, and in possession of a new thermos.

I still am glad that I gave the Thrmos bottle to Daniel. He needed it more than I did.
