Early spring - Daffodils

Despite the weather turning for the worse today, I think I can safely say that I am ready to dance into spring. I seem not to be alone in expecting a new rhythm - everywhere we walk the daffodils are gently swaying in the breeze. I'd like to think they know better than me when Spring is ready to dance into my days. In my garden years ago, these were the first flowers of spring, coming seemingly from nowhere. Much the same here it seems, many in gardens. These in my picture from yesterday, were growing wild next to a railroad track in town.
