Why does your rating go down

Maybe from people giving you negative feedback? Just a guess. myLot did specify how to use the rating system, but unless they are monitoring it, people will give others negatives for disagreeing with them. We are only supposed to give neg. for responses or comments that do not pertain to the discussion. I guess so that people can't earn credit for saying "hi" to every thread or whatever. I only give positives for the answers I like, which is the same as agreeing, I think. I don't bother with the negatives, because negativity isn't my thing.

I've read under another thread that this will happen if you post something they don't like. They carefully read everything we write and if it's not appropriate they will remove it. I'll try and find that thread for you.

Negative feedback I believe. Although apparently there is a system in place to stop the same user constantly giving you negative feedback.
