Foggy again this morning. It is supposed to be a rainy day. Last night I was working for the vote counting media reporting news agency. It was wild because they sent me to the courthouse where they used to count the votes. No one was there!!! I had been to that location previously, and remembered waiting for them to show up for a short time, but no one came. I am talking about the county clerks. So, I call the project director and told him I would wait for awhile. I even called the police since this is a small area, they would be likely to know where the vote collecting was happening. They suggested something but they really didn't know..Anyway, long story short I finally get to the right location (OF course it had changed, and no one told me, or them apparently) I was behind the gun since I was an hour late. Luckily things were posted I could copy from, and there was a woman there working for AP who shared her numbers with me. So, it ended up working out, but it was a lot easier when I was at the county clerks office and could just talk to them to get the results. BTW, not surpisingly this red county went big for Trump.

I saw Nikki Haley bow out this morning on tv. Can't say I'm surprised that Trump will probably get the nomination.

I only pray he is convicted and sentenced to jail time. Half of the country may not like it, but no one is above the law. Contrary to what you hear, I really don't see him running or serving from a jail cell.

@Marilynda1225 Even running from a jail cell sounds crazy. I am thinking if he is convicted of some of his crimes..he might be more likely to get house arrest..not that he deserves it.

@snowy22315 it's absurd to think that "our" president could run the country from a jail cell. Absolutely nuts

It poured this morning and I thought it was going to rain all the day, but we had a sunny afternoon. COLD! It snowed on the hills all around.

It isn't warm out there today. I had to shut a window.

@snowy22315 - We went out for a walk and I needed to wear a very warm jacket.

@LadyDuck I think it is raining now. No walking for me. I may take a break and sit by the heater for a bit.

Yeah, ours went for Trump too. I talked to one neighbor who said she chose Trump even though she hated him. She just figured he had the best chance of being Biden. That does not justify it to me, but it’s also not my business.

Actually, Most seemed to think Haley had a better chance of beating Biden. I think most actually are just feeling poor now..and blame Biden for it. They think things were better under Trump. Biden shot himself in the foot with that whole immigration debacle. Unless, this border and the economy get better pronto, he might as well kiss this election good bye.

@snowy22315 I agree with you. I think she has a much better chance. I just do not get it. At all. And sadly, I believe when Biden wins, he won’t be finishing those 4 years, I think Kamala will. I think four years is a long time to expect his mental state to stay strong. I mean Trump is just crazy, but I think Biden might develop dementia. And I’d rather keep Biden then put Kamala in charge. I hope Trump is put in jail somehow.

@AmbiePam Fingers crossed. Lord knows I am not thrilled with Kamala but better her than some criminal or radical Republican.

It amazes how communications break down in cases like this. 'They' know what they're doing but they forget to tell all the others involved.

I'm sorry you weren't informed of the new location. That's frustrating. Have a good day.

Good morning. I'm sorry the location was changed and so you got late. Someone should have informed you earlier.

It was ridiculous. Even the stupid mystery shopping company gets the location right..The name of the staff though is sometimes wrong..though the person goes by a nickname or middle name or something.
