The apron was useless

I decided to have a pinto beans omelet for breakfast, along with a small salad on the side. Since I am wearing a violet t-shirt today I put on an apron just in case. I didn't want to stain it.
Except I did. While cutting a grape tomato. That sucker squirted right on me and to my luck it went to the area on the t-shirt that was not covered by the apron. Now I have many small stains there.
When the contractor leaves I will try to wash it with Chinese laundry soap. Just trying to do it with water didn't help. I hope the stains will come off. I hate stains of any kind! Especially on things I love.

And it was a violet colored shirt. One of my faves.

@AmbiePam I think it looks good on me. I only wear this t-shirt at home though, so in case the stains didn't come off it's not the end of the world. I can still wear it.

That was my hope but not the case. Maybe they will disappear once I wash it in the washing machine. But that won’t be till end of the month.

@lovebuglena You have to try an old George Carlin joke. Take two shirts to the cleaners. One with the stain and one without and tell them, "I want you to take this stain out of this shirt and put it on this other one," and watch their reaction.

I hope you can get it out, too. Do you have something like shout? It gets rid of most stains.

Unfortunately, I don't have stain removers.

I just washed it with Chinese laundry soap. Will see if anything came off once the t-shirt dries. Hard to tell when it's wet.

Didn’t fully come out. But it’s not as visible. I will still wear it at home.

@lovebuglena At least you can salvage it. You probably paid $900 for it.

I love pinto beans. Have you sharpened your knives recently? Maybe that's the reason behind squirting tomatoes. I'm not crazy about stains either.

@lovebuglena .........That might be the problem.

I’ve never sharpened the knives. Don’t even know how to do it. The squirting usually doesn’t happen though.

I've just soaked another of Vince's T-shirts after he spilt food on it. Luckily the stain came out when I soaked it. Washing didn't remove it.

@lovebuglena I have Sard soap that I use like that but this stain had already been through the wash and hadn't come out so I thought it best to soak it.

I didn’t soak it. I just used Chinese laundry soap. I soaped the stains and then rubbed the area with my fingers. And then rinsed it off. Maybe I should have held it for a bit before doing anything.
