Hogs can grow very big and could cause a nasty accident on a road.

I hope the owners are found. That is always sad if they don't come and retrieve the animal.

I will have to see what our local news has on this story. Knightdale is about an hour from here. I can only imagine what those city folks thought seeing a hog running lose in their neighborhood.

I am glad he was rescued but did anyone ask him if he was in danger of becoming bacon????

That is a good question if the hog knew he or she was going to be dinner soon.

I hope the owner claims his hog. I'm sure the hog doesn't want to end up on someone's dinner plate.

Such animals should really be penned in more better to prevent stray animals walking the streets like this. A pig is a big animal, and it could have caused some havoc if left to run around wild like that. It was good they caught the hog.

I'm glad the hog was captured; but I'm not thrilled that the hog could possibly be auctioned off.
