Alee was not a pill today. She slept in the car on the way over, but managed to rally, do some scales, and play some Bach and some kid tunes with good left hand chords.
It was late in her lesson that I realized/remembered I had her ring in my pocket. I slipped it on her finger. She was surprised. I think she had forgotten that she left in her last lesson.
We did not do any Beethoven today, but I'll get her back into Fur Elise next week.

@mildredtabitha I think a kitty and a 7-year-old girl would be too much for me.

I'm glad Alee was cooperative. Makes for a much more enjoyable lesson. Have a good day.

She actually forgot the ring she lost ! She is a good student today to be fair to her.

It's an interesting compromise. She could progress more "quickly" if she was more focused, But I hope the time we spend doing music together becomes a joyous memory for her, and that she continues to "have attitude" and make music.

Congratulation on your engagement.
