I slipped a ring on her finger. Is The Horse engaged?

Alee was not a pill today. She slept in the car on the way over, but managed to rally, do some scales, and play some Bach and some kid tunes with good left hand chords. It was late in her lesson that I realized/remembered I had her ring in my pocket. I slipped it on her finger. She was surprised. I think she had forgotten that she left in her last lesson. We did not do any Beethoven today, but I'll get her back into Fur Elise next week.

@mildredtabitha I think a kitty and a 7-year-old girl would be too much for me.

I'm glad Alee was cooperative. Makes for a much more enjoyable lesson. Have a good day.

That it should. I suppose our attitude can help most days be "better than average," if that is statistically possible.

Be careful, she is under age, now you will be obliged to marry her.

If she ran my house, Kitty might get ticked off. And I'd have to help her with her homework.

I'm glad she isn't a pill every time she comes for a lesson.

It's an interesting compromise. She could progress more "quickly" if she was more focused, But I hope the time we spend doing music together becomes a joyous memory for her, and that she continues to "have attitude" and make music.

I think you're off the hook re the engagement thing since you were returning her ring rather than presenting her with a new one.

She would be a handful. I bet her daddy struggles to "encourage" her to get her homework done.

Yeppers. It's one of those rare times where I (almost) know I'm "doing good."
