No alarms

I am looking forward to spring break, when I will set no alarms.
I shut my first alarm off this morning, because I set one an hour later, in case I need it. I got forty minutes extra sleep.
I also set an alarm to clock in at work, because I used to forget.
Getting up early is okay by me, but there are times when I would like to sleep in.
Like when I have a cold.
We are having thunderstorms this morning, so I guess I had better go to work. I will have to drive a little slower.
Isn't my plan for spring break so exciting? No alarms.

I am usually awake between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. but I have been sick and would like a little extra rest. I like to wake up early, but sit and watch the sun rise.

@GardenGerty lol. It's an old and worn out joke, I realize, but one I can never resist. Sort of like the other one I like to use, "When I want dishes done, I use Dawn." I've been slapped for that one more than once. lol

It may end up as a permanent plan next year.

@paigea I need the money and the mental stimulation, but I also need less pressure.

I am so thankful for my cellphone and the ability to set alarms on it. I am so forgetful that having it is very helpful.

I do not mind waking up early, but like you, needing to go out is tiresome.I prefer to wake early, sip a cup of coffee and watch the sky grow light.

I also like to turn off such alarms on cold days and sleep for a while.

I like to set my "happy light" to wake me up gradually.

Yes, the time changes are the pits. I wish they would pick one way and leave it.

No alarms is always good. Taking a nap is even better. Enjoy your spring break! Have a good weekend.

It is good to have the option to do either one.
