The day after the awkward moment...

Well, here I am, back at work after the unexpected encounter with him. My emotions are all over the place, and I need to put pen to paper to make sense of it all. Seeing him was like reopening a long-sealed box of memories. As much as I tried to be casual and composed, the truth is that my heart raced as I stood face to face with the person I used to know so intimately. It's funny how time can both heal and stir up old feelings. Our conversation was a delicate dance of catching up on the surface while carefully avoiding the deeper waters. We spoke about new jobs and recent adventures, all while skirting around the unspoken questions lingering in the air. What happened between us? Where did it all go wrong? At times, it felt like no time had passed at all. His laughter, his mannerisms – all familiar and comforting. Yet, beneath the surface, I could sense the changes. Life had shaped us into different people, and it was evident in the lines on his face and the stories in his eyes.

Now you've broken the ice. The worst is over should you meet him again. Have a good weekend.

Do you think you will meet again and stay friends from now on?
