I got to learn a new word and that is servitude. That means the condition of being enslaved or of being completely under the control of someone else. That word can resonate with the experiences of other people especially those feel controlled.I have read stories about people controlled by their religions to the point it felt like servitude. Also there are cases people are controlled by a person because that person may have manipulative behavior. In our society where control can happen, it can somehow stop people from being able to think and decide for themselves.Yes society needs order but controlling people to the point that their mental health is affected…Well, there should have something to do about it…People have to be critical thinkers and I feel education can play a pivotal role to fight against servitude.
