Greetings from a brand new laptop

I seem to go through these things at about the same rate as iPhones. My last laptop is about 5 years old. It was perfectly fine because I don't need any fancy features. I use it to read the news, for social media, for online shopping, etc. A couple of months ago some water got splashed on the keyboard which killed the shift key on the left side. I was annoyed but I soon got used to just using the one on the right side. I could live with it. Then the down arrow key loosened and wouldn't stay in place. Fine. I just kept popping it into place. Again annoying but I could deal. I knew I was going to have to replace it soon but I wanted to wait until I received my tax return. Well yesterday afternoon sealed the deal. Said down arrow key literally snapped in half. I tried to crazy glue it back together but that didn't work. Soooo I went to Amazon and searched for an updated version of the laptop I already had. It was about $360. The crazy thing was that I ordered it around 2 or 3pm and it said it would be delivered between 5 and 10pm the same day. I was incredulous. It hadn't arrived by the time I went to bed at 8 but sure enough it was at the door when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. That is crazy! So here I am typing from my new computer.
