The Man Who Refused to Meet his Cousin

Human nature and psychology cannot be deciphered. I will relate a small incident and I wonder what it denotes. Sometime back, I had met a friend of mine and both of us proceeded to the military camp and but then sat in the military club. At that time, my friend received a telephone call and I asked him who it was. He was a little agitated and said that his cousin had come from Canada and was staying at Bhopal and had now driven down to the city and wanted to meet him.. "Fine," I replied ,"you must meet him" and I suggested I could drop him back at his place. He suddenly turned and said that he didn't want to meet this man and he said he wouldn't be going. I reminded him that this man had come from thousands of miles away from Canada and it would be appropriate to meet him. The man made another call to my friend and told him he was outside his house and he forwarded a photograph of the house by WhatsApp. My friend just looked at the photo and said I'm not going to meet him. I sometimes wonder how men can be so irrational I never enquired as to what is the reason he didn't want to meet. His cousin had come all the way from Canada but that will remain a mystery because I haven't met my friend after that..
