The day starts quite nicely here, but there’s severe weather not too far off. I’ll keep one eye on the weather while I serve you up another dish of songs with “live” in the title. This will get you up and moving!! Living in America - James Brown OW! Get down!! It’s time for the Godfather of Soul! The 80s were good “comeback” years for a lot of R&B singers. Tina Turner, most famously, but this song, from Rocky IV, also put James Brown back on the musical map. This may shock you, but I’ve never seen a Rocky movie. And, generally, I haven’t really cared all that much for the songs from the films. This is a notable exception. Oh, and if you remember that song “I Can Dream About You,” the guy who sang that, Dan Hartman, wrote this song. Some 80s dancing delight!
