Rock Springs Georgia resident Liz Gillespie is happy to learn that her Lynx Point Siamese mix male cat named Kevin Durant who may or may not been named after the National Basketball Association (NBA) player with the Phoenix Suns ran away from the home of his owner in 2017. Kevin Durant the cat ran away from the home of Liz when he was saw an opening on a chicken wire and the cat did not return home until he was picked up by a Walker County Animal Shelter official recently. Because Kevin Durant was microchipped by his owner was living with a neighbor a mile away from the home of Liz since the former owner of Kevin Durant reported to the animal shelter that their child was bitten by a cat. The animal shelter animals officials were able to capture the cat recently and find out that Kevin had been microchipped and returned to his owner who is grateful to reunite with her cat seven years later safe and sound.
