So we have our own car and every time we go outside for a ride I notice that more and more people are doing business now here in my town and in other nearby towns too. In busy places and in many gas stations a lot of people now are putting up commercial buildings for rent. So there are lots of services now offered. So many now are also opening food stalls and food shops. Is that the same trend in your place?

Where we are, in the town centre shops are always closing down because they can't afford the rent. The guy who owns the Three Spires Shopping centre always charges too high a rent. Also, the pub we used to go in has closed. I don't know why, and I don't know if or when it's going to be opening agaIn.

NO, renting a place to open a store is extremely expensive here, most individual stores are closing.

@averygirl72 - In our country first you need a license, you apply and you have to prove that you have the title to open that kind of business. Once you get the license you MUST at least hire one person and if you fail and close our business during 3 years you cannot start a new one.

Since the start when things started opening back to normal business seem to be booming right now. I guess the effects of the pandemic is going to slowly fade away in time.

@averygirl72 However, it appears that many businesses have closed, particularly in the large malls in this area. It appears that the empty shops and stalls that closed during the pandemic are being replaced by new ones.

Living in the United States, it is just business as usual. But it is nice to see places like the Philippines having more opportunities to do business and of course, it helps the people as well because that means more jobs.
