Monday Morning Brief and Sunday Update

Good morning from cold, windy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's currently 24 F and reaching a high today of 38 F. It's still winter for another day. I hope Spring lets her guard down and allows winter some spring fun. Yesterday was a good day. I put the corned beef in the crockpot at 6:30 AM and set it for 8 hours and then went to church. Not right away. Church starts at 9:30. I hope you all had a Happy St. Patrick's Day. After church I got my steps and talked to a friend on third floor who invited me into her apartment. She introduced me to a fiber rich cereal. I need fiber. So, I'll be getting Kashi Go in the health food aisle. After getting my steps I settled into the recliner to watch TV and use the foot cycle. I did that twice yesterday as I also ate a lot yesterday. A few days ago I mentioned to one gentleman in the building, that I was making corned beef today. He said he would come over. I expected it was just something he said and wouldn't be here. He showed up. We had a good visit, and he took some corned beef, potatoes, and carrots back to his apartment. I took selfies of a shamrock head piece. I hope it's not too big for the site. I'm still learning to do selfies and smile for them. I always look so pensive when taking them. I watched two movies: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Beauty and the Beast - live action with Emma Watson. I forgot I wanted to watch Darby O'Gill and the Little People. I'll watch it today. It was a very good day. Today's plans are simple: notifications, work on books, get my steps, and I have a friend coming to pick up all my electronics for recycling, two computers and monitors, one laptop a tablet, and blue ray player. They don't work. Well the monitors do, but I don't need three monitors. Besides one of them has a different HDMI connector. It doesn't work with the computer. I needed the old set up for the connection to the computer. So, it's going along with all the unnecessary cords I've been keeping for too long. That's how my day looks. How's your day going?
