Good evening from a wonderful day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 30 F and falling to 18 F for the overnight low.
I couldn't leave today without giving you the health report for the past week. Last week I hit my low since I started the new drive to lose weight last June 12. At that time my weight was 223. Last Friday, I weighed in at 199. I broke the 200 barrier. Unfortunately, 200 isn't in the rear-view mirror yet. There have been a couple of high sodium days giving me water weight that I am working to take off again. So, here's this week's health report.

Thursday, March 21 - Weight - 203.3. Exercise: Walking - 92 minutes. Calories burned: 262. Foot cycle: 60 minutes. Calories burned: 853. Total calories burned: 1115. Calorie budget: 2820. Calories consumed: 925. Steps: 14,949.
Friday, March 22 - Weight - 202.7.
I'm coming back down. Sunday was St. Patrick's Day, so the calories were higher. Wednesday, I had the headache from Hell, so I didn't do any walking around the building and only did the foot cycle. Yesterday, I wasn't hungry, so the calories were a lot less. I'm making up for it today, my calories are more, but not exorbitant as they were when I had corned beef Sunday and Monday. My highest calorie consumption was on Tuesday. Since then I've gotten my food consumption back to normal, twice a day.
You might also have noticed a change in the calories burned. It's because I am moving faster both with walking and the foot cycle. I noticed when I rode the bike, my time was 14 mph instead of 12-14 mph that it was. So that put me in a different calorie burning category. Which also means, I'm walking faster. I can tell it as I move through the hallways. Minus the time I stop to talk to people. The time is the steps I take not the overall time it takes to get from my apartment and back again.
Okay, there you have it. I'm back on the downward slope again. This time it won't take several months to lose two pounds. I should have it off in a week. I hope.
How are you doing with your weight? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

You'll get there. I know you will. I'm still losing, or holding. Can't decide which. It's down. That's all I know.

Sad to say after my most recent visit to the doctor I gained about 15 pounds. I am taking a medication to lose weight that was given to me by my heart doctor.

Sorry that you have gone up a bit, but that is good you are working on getting it back down. That's good you are able to move faster. That's a great NSV ( non scale victory).
I have gone down to my lowest since trying again, but I know I will gain some water weight over the weekend since I had carbs today and know I will again tomorrow.

You're doing well. Try not to eat too many carbs.
Thank you. It's the little things that I can tell making all the difference.

I love corned beef brisket, but I do know there is so very much sodium in it, we all gain weight from it. Don't let it worry you, you will get the extra off, I'm sure. It will soon be warmer outside, and you will probably get more exercise being outside, as well.

The best thing about the corned beef is that I didn't add the salt seasoning packet to it. It tasted great without it and limited my sodium intake. I'm sure there was still sodium in the brisket without the packet.
Yes, I'll get it off. I'm down a little more this morning.

We had some at my daughter's house to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I usually cook it, but this year, they wanted to. It was delicious.

In January I had lost, but I think I am back up again. I need a better scale. I can hardly read the one I have.

You are working hard to burn off more calories and to cut back on calories consumed. All in all, you are doing an excellent job! Corned beef is laced with salt, that's why it brought some water weight gain.

@kobesbuddy I'm sure it was. I don't remember if we had it or not. My mother was half Irish, so it's possible, but it doesn't stand out like the other holidays do.

@just4him My mother always fixed corned beef for St. Patrick's Day. It was amazing!

I'm holding at 18 pounds right now. I don't weigh myself every day. You are doing great! Soon you will leave that 200 pounds behind. Have a good weekend.

I hope you lose the weight you need to! To what I have read your doing really good! I believe in you! You can do it don't stress and don't worry about it! Stressing can sometimes make it harder to do! But I don't know exactly how it works because I am the opposite I have to gain some weight I'm extremely underweight for my age and height group!

I hope you can gain.
Thank you. I don't stress about anything. I know what I need to do and do it. Holidays usually mess things up, but this year, I didn't let them come between me and weight loss. I hope I can do the same with Easter.
