It is CHEER Day!

Today I will be spending a good part of my day at the Eastern Cheer Competiton. My grand daughter will be performing with two different teams. Last competition was held out a province so I wasn't able to attend. They placed 1st in their category that day. Above is the picture she sent me of her and her best friend from that competition.
There will be teams from all over Canada competing today. My daughter will pick me up at noon and we will go together. I am looking forward to spending the day with my daughter too. We don't get a lot of daughter mother time these days or when we are together our spouses are always with us so it wikl br nice to be just then two of us.
Last cheer competitions I went were the high school teams. This is a team representing our city so it is on a different level. There will a lot of college and senior teams competing today too. The ages range from preschool to seniors. They compete in different categories.
Anyway that is how I will be spending my Saturday. Hope will you be spending your day?

I hope that they placed well in the competition today, even if they did not, I know that you and your daughter would have enjoyed the time spent together.
My hubby and I spent the first half of the day together, and then shortly after 1pm our son texted me, and said that the girls were asking for Nanny. I went over and played with them for a while. If I don't go over on my days off, they grow and learn so much that the next time that I see them I hardly recognize them. They are speaking so many more words every time that I see them. Harper loves to ask for my 'clock' and I have to take my watch off and she asked me today to put it on her, she watched me, and then said off, off, and I took it off of her and she said self, and she put it on herself. It took her a few minutes but she got it all by herself.
