Cat Bouquets

We finally managed to get these two cats' appointments to get spayed. There was a long waiting list to the point where you couldn't get on the list for a period of time. They went through the operations without trouble although they certainly didn't like it. They both left the vet clinic growling. Thankfully they see us as saviours rather than their persecutors. They'll be done with the cones soon.

They're doing pretty good. If they could just leave their healing incisions alone they wouldn't even need the cones.

Poor cats. But it's much the best thing to do. There are enough cats in the world without needing more.

It's for the best definitely. We're in no position to take care of more or adopt out kittens. These two are strictly indoor and the going in and out of heat was driving us around the bend.

Duchess the one on the right has a very long memory. I took "her" chair when my old computer station chair was retired. She took nearly six months to forgive me for that one. They aren't blaming us though so this should be just a faint memory soon.

I’ve always found the cones on critters amusing. We call them lampshades.

We call them that too. The way they walk wearing them is pretty comical as well. They do this head weave movement side to side while they lope along.

They aren't going anywhere. We're keeping these two otherwise I doubt we would have considered spending that much money to get them fixed. We feed two feral outdoor cats as well but that's for another post on another day.

Cute as can be and unusually small. Their papa is a huge tomcat and their mama is a regular-sized cat. Why these two are so small is not understood by us.

They are absolutely adorable. Full of personality and mischief. If they weren't so cute I think my wife would've found a way to get rid of them.
