Do you believe that Donald Trump is really "selling Bibles"? Or is this just more BS whipped up by the Lefty Press?

I read this morning that Donald Trump is selling Bibles. I have seen it on some "Lefty" websites, but I have also seen it from sources like NBC and CBS, sources I used to trust.
I read the Bible often, sometimes just randomly opening it to see what I find, but I am also aware that separation of Church and State are among the founding principles of the United States. I am also aware that Donald Trump is not religious (certainly not "Christian"), and could not cite a single Bible verse when asked.
Do you think he would really stoop to selling Bibles for $60? One of the Bibles I have here is annotated. It was given to me by a friend who was an editor of that version. But most of the ones I have here were simply brought home from motel rooms. I think they're placed by the Gideons to encourage us to read the Old and New Testaments.
My favorite Bible chapters are Matthew 25 and Isaiah 58, for reasons which will be obvious if you read those chapters and know anything about me. But I respect people of all religions, including those who choose not to commit to any particular religion.
Do you think this "news story" is real? Or is it just more BS made up by "Lefties" to make Trump look like a grifter? If you are Christian or Jewish (and even if not, for that matter), are you offended, either by the Left trying to portray Trump as exploiting religion for money, or by Trump (if it's true) for selling Bibles?
I'll attach a news story from a (supposedly) reliable news source.

He literally posted a video on his social media site. Technically he isn't selling them himself. It is a Lee Greenwood product. He is endorsing it though and will receive royalties or some cut of the $$. The hilarious thing is that Trump said he has many Bibles and it is his favorite book.
Former President Donald Trump is urging his supporters to buy a "God Bless the USA" Bible for $59.99 as he faces mounting legal bills amid his third presiden...

---------He has to have many Bibles. And asbestos gloves. Because every time he touches one, it bursts into flame.

@xander6464 Trump is too stupid to be an Antichrist. It's scary to think what would happen if someone like him came along who was intelligent and versed in Law.

It's kind of sad for Christians. If this goes like everything else Trump has tried, the Bible will be bankrupt in a few months and completely forgotten in about a year.

If Trump causes people to turn away from the principles discussed in the Old and New Testaments, I will be a bit miffed. It doesn't matter if one is "religious" per se. It matters whether one considers moral issues, and discusses them with peers. .

@TheHorse Would Jesus need a lawyer if he visited right now?
----------He would need a few lawyers. And a bulletproof vest if He decided to do any preaching in Texas.

He never seems to make me laugh. He's a circus leader to be sure. I am an atheist and nothing he does impresses me that is for sure. This news source "supposedly reliable" is just that.

@TheHorse .......That is really the only subject left to him ----religion. I doubt he has opened a Bible in many moons. I could go on about what I feel about religions and religious people but I won't.

@celticeagle Mark Twain is my favorite author for a reason. "Was it Heaven? Or Hell?" is a worthwhile read. It is a short story about 20 pages long.

I´m not going to climb to the second floor to get a Bible to check on your favorite chapters. But if I remember to bring a Bible down when I climb, I´ll read it if I remember.
I just don´t imagine Trump reading a Bible. In fact, I can´t imagine Trump reading anything. I have the feeling that he was the kind of child who paid for a less affluent boy at school to do his homework.

@TheHorse Goodness this is very long to read. Religion hypocrisy is a reality. I wonder how many go to the church and cite the Bible just to show that they are "good Christians". I had so much enough of the nuns that I stopped being religious as soon as I could get out of that horrible school and be independent.

@TheHorse - The nuns forced us to go to church every Wednesday morning, we started the lesson one hour later to go to the mass. I met no one in this world more hypocrite and mean than nuns. They are cruel, they are jealous, they are envious, terrible humans!

I read about the bible selling thing on Reddit. I just read Reddit never comment on there. I started reading Reddit because of two tv shows. Anyway, I think it's crazy if he is doing that. I wouldn't pay 60 dollars for a bible.

Yes, it's true as far as I know. How they can charge $60 is beyond me. Have a good day.
